Many months ago I had moved from my parental units abode to my own in the city. This marked the end of a decade of living in the suburbs outside of the big city (aka the GTA) and the start of living life again. Anyways, one of the many things left behind as I didn’t have space at the time was my bicycle. Since I had moved during the fall/winter time, I had no use for my bike as I didn’t really want to ride it in the cold, and work is a 20 minute walk from my house. But the weather was finally good enough this weekend to pick it up and that I did.
Was I going to be lame and take it back with me on the train? Hells no. That shit’s expensive ($5.05 for a ticket one way) and I did need the excersise the ride would give me. As an added bonus there’s a wonderful Waterfront Trail that would take me from the ‘burbs back into the city. And given that it was an okay day and I have a camera I need to use more often, well it just a perfect storm of convience. Below are pics of my 25Km ride along the Waterfront Trail. If you have the opertunity to take a ride along it, I highly suggest doing so as it takes you into a lot of different parks and areas of the city. And it’s good excercise.
