Earlier this week, right after it was repaired and operational, I’ve lost my trusty laptop. I’m a little upset, but it was getting old and more so since I just got it operational. Ah but that is life. I have been mulling over the idea of getting a netbook to replace my laptop as tablet pc technology really hasn’t gone very far in the last few years. The most current units are HPs, but they don’t appeal to me at all.
It’s not all bad, I have found a netbook I would like to get and as well I do have a new Wacom Bamboo tablet I could be using in combination with the netbook to basically have the same work package.
That aside, my gallery project is moving ahead and I’m waiting until the opening. Hopefully before I can get out to the school studio and get work done, just really need to make a few e-mails, calls, and then I can get out there and get some work made. That aside, I’ve got my digital printing project underway as well. I was struggling a little bit with it as it required a bit of complex work and ended with me having to write some programming code to make it all flow smoother, but I think the trouble was well wort it.
And if another deal goes down smoothly, I could have some studio space which will totally let me explore silkscreening on my own.
Don’t stick around too long however, BBQ season is here. Get out and get cookin’!
